Section 54: Identifying the Arrested Person
If the police think someone needs to be identified by another person to solve a crime, a judge can order the arrested person to be identified. The judge decides how the identification happens.
If the person doing the identifying has a disability, a judge must watch the identification. The judge makes sure the identification is done in a way that is okay with the person doing the identifying, and the whole process is recorded.
