The Consumer Protection Act, 2019
56. Transitional provision.-
The President and every other member appointed immediately before the commencement of section 177 of the Finance Act, 2017 (7 of 2017) shall continue to be governed by the provisions of the Consumer Protection Act, 1986 (68 of 1986) and the rules made there under as if this Act had not come into force.
